WHY? IT IS HIS TOURNAMENT, HE WAS THE ONLY PLAYER TO WIN IT 3 TIMES IN 4 YEARS. THERE IS NOW NOTHING IN ENGLAND, THE GERMAN PRO-AM IS NOT EVEN A WORLD SNOOKER RANKING EVENT. PAUL WAS THE MASTERS CHAMPION, HE DESERVES TO BE HONOURED, IF NOT FOR HIM, IT SHOULD BE FOR HIS WIFE LINDSEY AND THEIR DAUGHTER EVIE ROSE. I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED. But I can see why the WSA would be a little reluctant to do this.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29605452.post-1161607956094999322006-10-23T13:52:00.000+01:002006-10-23T13:52:00.000+01:00I think it's a copout! Many people will not relate ...I think it's a copout!

Many people will not relate to this award at all, and it will hardly get any media coverage - that is the sport/general media.

Where, the Masters, had so many aspects going for it; new(ish) venue;long sponsorship deal;more players involved.

Another great masterstroke by the WPBSA.

Thanks, JoeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
