It just shows up the shambolic nature of the tour (what's left of it). The top players won't vote for changes to rankings as they could lose their places, while those at the bottom struggle to make an impact. A top-10 player could lose all his first round matches and still have favourable draws the next year based on this ludicrous two year ranking. We then have the same old players, many woefully out of form, taking up TV exposure and playing badly.
