DAVIS HAS HIS CHIPS

Steve Davis, the six times Crucible champion, will be among the hopefuls at the World Series fo Poker, which gets underway in Las Vegas.

With a top prize of $5,000,000 it is the richest sporting event anywhere in the world.

    Williams, Stevens and White are all avid Poker players.

    Didn't the Whirlwind win a lot of money in a competition on Sky a few years back?

    I seemed to recall Steve Davis was on the table with him and got knocked out very early.

    I also seemed to remember that ladies ex-snooker pro and, now pool player, Alison Fisher, wasn't too bad when it came to Poker.
