Alex Higgins has reportedly been dropped from a charity event in Ireland after some unpleasant behaviour was alleged at a recent exhibition featuring Jimmy White.
I was chatting to Kevin and Jimmy who were doing the tour last week with Alex and apparently these weren't the only incidents.
A far cry from the fabulous entertainment that Jimmy and Ronnie dished up for the Irish fans only a week before, with back to back 147s amongst a barrage of big breaks.
You're right anonymous. The fools who defend him did indeed come out and, as read in comments at various online news articles, some still claim that he was responsible for O'Sullivan and Hendry having made millions due to him making it a popular sport...! Perhaps Richard Dawkins should do another book titled The Hurricane Delusion.
Agreed Claus.I don't understand people feeeling sorry for Higgins because he has no money when he made millions over tge course of his career and blew it on drink and gambling.

Why does Jimmy continue to go out of his way to help him if this the thanks he gets?
