  1. Dave, what is with just the hours coverage this morning, seems almost pointless showing it if they're going to cut away at 11am?

Do you know if this is just highlights from the final round or the whole tournament?

    Thanks.

Did anyone get the free account working ? Will any afternoon coverage be available ?

  4. Yeah it worked and you didn't miss anything both players rubbish. Scottish commentator pointing out the obvious and pretty dull - Rob Walker was better! I presume the one hour of coverage fits in with BAGS in the betting shop, not great for the snooker fan though.

I can't get logged on to 110, even with my existing username and password and request for password doesn't come through. Been trying since Saturday.

I e-mailed 110sport asking them why do they only broadcast up to certain time and they replied "Unfortunately at this events we can only bring you limited coverage." They've not answered my question. I wanted to know why it's limited.

I didn't think I would ever see the day where the qualifiers would be on TV. Well done Eurosport. I hope it's the start of something and we get to see live coverage on TV in the future.

Yeah there seemed to be some good breaks in the Cope - Doherty game but I suppose the Wenbo clash was televised for the Asian market.

"Seemed to be some good breaks in the Cope-Doherty game?"

Lets Parry that one by saying lets move the cameras to that table or better still, have three cameras on all eight tables!

Talk sense - this is snooker at Prestatyn we're watching not the Champions League.

I have mailed them many times asking questions, they almost always avoid these.

Also, I e-mailed them a long e-mail with suggestions on how to improve service, and offering myself to hel[ them with it, mailed this multiple times to addresses that I know work, not even a 'thank you for your comments'.

  13. Over the weeekend I created a 110 account but the qualifying match between Doherty and someone else (can't remember who) was just frozen on my screen. It seemed a full screen view wasn't available either. I was pretty unimpressed.

I'll sky plus the qualifyers on Thursday and will be reporting back with a thumbs up or a thumbs down. I'm hoping for a thumbs up and don't see why it shouldn't be. Good news, well done Eurosport!

  14. Dave,

I have checked my Sky planner and I can't see the snooker on there for Thursday 12:45 - 2:45pm. It looks as if there is Figure Skating and Supercross on instead.

Is it still planned to be shown Dave?

  15. Yeah it's definitely on, but it was a late addition to the schedule.

    Who is the Scottish commentator?
He is ok but seems to think nobody has seen snooker before.
What is his name? I am sure he'll improve.

"seems to think nobody has seen snooker before" ...

No-one has seen snooker like this before in a bookies shop.
