WALK THIS WAY

Dennis Taylor and Willie Thorne took part in the BBC's Let's Dance For Sport Relief on Saturday where they strutted their stuff to Aerosmith and Run DMC's Walk This Way with darts stars Tony O'Shea and Bobby George.

Those of a sensitive disposition should not click here.

Hello Dave
How are you lad! You must feel exhausted Dave after watching Dennis and Big Willie doing there stuff for charity. It took courage and possible a few drams to get them really going.

It’s sad that Dennis, Willie and the players union didn’t offer “Something Snooker” as a contribution to remind Joe public that the game is still sometimes active.

Good stuff and congratulations to Dennis and Big Willie. I could almost hear Big Willie spout “and you stun down here” and “you screw down there”. Plus Dennis reminding us to watch Steve’s head while down on the shot.

Going back to snooker Dave! These two reminders of Dennis and Willie are amazingly still unanswered seventy years after Joe Davis wrote the very words.

How to Stun and Screw is wrapped up (wrongly) in “Don’t forget to follow through” and the other has never explained how to keep your “Head Still” on the strike. Mr hey you

I was alerted to this through your Twitter updates, a classic moment of comedy. I hope it alleviated your mood over that press story that was bothering you! Im guessing either Woods delivering the slickest apology ever, Gordon Brown is allegedly a bully or if you are a tabloid man then Ashley Cole usurping John Terry in the infidelity stakes.

He's hooked you in IanW - you'll never be the same. To me it looks like it's been written from a prison cell. He also keeps posting on my blog calling me Dave, I don't think everything is quite right in heyyouland.

Hello Dave and Mr snookerbacker
I hope Dave that these posts to “Other People” don’t offend you. It seems discourtesy to address “These Others” without your know how and permission.

I sincerely apologise mister snokor blokor for posting on your blebsight, it was a complete misunderstanding sir and won’t happen again.
Please note dear sir that it was on your invitation through the Dave Den blog that I complied to your request, Apologises again sir, no harm done.

I, Mr hey you will continue to read and enjoy the many posts by you and other parochial websits repeatedly filling the David Hendon snooker blog. Mr hey you

Hello Dave
How are you lad! I have just read an interesting piece from an old blog member of yours on Barry the games possible savour, or should say “Likely” savour.

It was a good article Dave except the young man allowed Barry to dictate his article without once inviting any “What If” type of questions?

Barry wasn’t once queried on his “Transparency” policy or that other one? “Complete Honesty” in all snooker matters. I hope your other apprentices Dave have been more attentive in your schooling though his grammar and English was fair Dave it was full of colloquialisms.

Barry didn’t mention the “Matchroom” business in Wales or the multi million pound businesses that is part of Eurosport, but I am sure Barry and Steve have great ideas for our lovely game. Mr hey you

Dear Janie Watkins and Hello Dave
How are you both! I am sorry my dear, but I am afraid I am unaware of a “Pockit Weesil”. At a guess I would say it is a new “Snooker Accessory” possible to help the female player when down on the shot.

If it should be an aid to eliminate any “Health Hazard” to a girl’s breast when playing forceful shots. The “Pockit Weesil” is wonderful Janie and should be named after the inventor. The gadget or method will double over night the number of lady players attracted to the game.

The great Steve Davis has already written an article condemning the practice of butt fist contact on the chest. Sadly “Steve the Legion” did not find an answer as his fist on the cue but is still clenched fast during and after the strike. Mr hey you

PS. If you should be concerned Janie about the welfare of female players; please adopt the “Glover Grip”. It is free to anyone, but not for commercial use or to enhance a reputation. DM
