Here's a chance to find out as I put my head on the block by predicting who will come through the Royal London Watches Grand Prix qualifiers at Prestatyn next week...

Group A: Ricky Walden and Tian Pengfei
Group B: Sean Storey and Michael Judge
Group C: Jamie Cope and Rory McLeod
Group D: Judd Trump and Dave Gilbert
Group E: Gerard Greene and David Morris
Group F: Adrian Gunnell and Stuart Pettman
Group G: Paul Davies and Ben Woollaston
Group H: Mark Allen and Tom Ford

Fingers crossed!

I would certainly fancy Tian Pengfei to progress after his superb run at the Northern Ireland Trophy in August.

Further progress for Judd Trump, possibly a televised appearance, also would be nice to see.

Can you tell me how Welsh wizard, Michael White, has been getting on in any pro-ams et al.

Thanks, Joe

Michael White reached the final of the recent under 25 Open at the Pontin's Autumn festival.

Clearly one for the future.

Thank you for that information, Dave.

Maybe the WSA could start up the Young Players of The Future programme again (last one was in 2000) which had the likes of Carter, Murphy and Jamie Burnett in it.

This one could have; Trump, Allen and White.

Thanks, Joe
