UNDER PRESSURE

Mark Selby is proving himself to be a master of brinkmanship.

I consider the reasons why for Betfair.

Is it true that Maguire has a doctor's note to exempt him from wearing a bowtie? If so is it from the same doctor who wrote sick notes for Davis and O'Sullivan in Dubai?........

He does have a note because of a skin condition and has to undergo a medical examination periodically

The only thing I'd pull you up on Dave is that Selby doesn't look like he's "playing as if it means nothing when it means everything", he plays like it means everything! Have you seen him shake due to pressure when he's down on his shots in a pressure situation? It proves his bottle because he knows the situation and he stands up to it and generally plays his best snooker when he knows he can't afford to miss.

I'm a big Selby fan but I am not so sure he should have made a quip when fluking a red out of a snooker in the decider against Mark Allen.
He said "surprised you left me that one" in the direction of his opponent.
I can think of one or two ex-players who would have got the hump over that, a couple of which are modern day commentators.
