SHANGHAI MONEY UP

Prize money for the Roewe Shanghai Masters has been increased.

The total prize fund this season will be £300,000 with £55,000 going to the winner.

Last year, the total pot was worth £282,000, with Ricky Walden pocketing £52,000 as champion.

The tournament's prize fund and staging costs are paid by Chinese promoters under a five year deal with the WPBSA announced in 2007.

No, which is kind of odd.

All I know is that Ricky Walden will be at the top, John Higgins at the bottom, Ronnie O'Sullivan seeded third and Stephen Maguire fourth.

The draw has been out for a while, though for some reason it has not been made public yet. The players have all been sent a copy, must be too difficult for World Snooker to get up on their website.

The draw for the qualifiers are out, just take the matches over in order, so Walden will play the King line, all the way down to Higgins and the Davis line.
