It would be great to see White lift a trophy again after his decline in the last few years. Good to see James Wattana playing well on home soil as well.

Jimmy indeed has beaten Ricky ... not a whitewash but still.

Tomorrow Higgins vs Trump ... but they nontheless will show Jimmy vs King life on telly. That says somethong about populatity :)

Jimmy's already through to the semis after beating Mark King as well! :) Now up against Mark Williams... It's Trump vs. Hawkins in the other semi.

Why are you so pejorative about this tournament? If you're going to slag it off without giving us a reason, at least learn to spell properly - that way everyone might take you seriously.

its a gimmicky rubish and has nothing at all to do with snooker.

6 reds snooker is boring as hell....theres nothing happening in it.

if they going to make a game with 6 reds lets change the game and play with different rules and make it different and exciting...

people liken 6 red to 20/20 cricket.

does 20/20 cricket play to the same rules as Test Cricket ? NO it doesent however 6 reds does play to the same Rules as Snooker whitch makes it Dull.

if this Game is worth perservering with Rule Changes has to take place including instead of 6 colours 3 Colours along the balk line say Black,Pink and Blue and the Reds down the bottom so breakbuilding is far harder and in a Foul Ball in Hand Things like that..

Give it a diferent identity like 20/20 Cricket.

I don't think making break building harder is what is intended. That would only slow things up, when the idea of taking reds off the table is to speed play up.

I agree that some rule changes are needed, and your idea of ball in hand for a foul is one simple and brilliant idea that would definitely make things quicker.

Just think, the first foul could cost you the frame, so there is always tension when a player is snookered - get out or the frame is likely to be lost.

Ball in hand is so good because it's so simple. Expect to see it copied by those in charge, but don't expect any credit!
