In an earlier item on this blog it was stated that the China Open was to be re-named Beijing Open but this latest article makers no mention of that and indeed the WSA seem to have come up with a new logo - hardly something they would do if a name change was imminent.

Indeed, we reported the tournament had changed name because that was what World Snooker told us.

It appears they have now changed their minds again.

Great news!

So are there 2 Asia tournaments or 1?

Thanks, Joe
