Looking forward to it. Have you heard anything about Sheffield Theatres website sitting down this morning when snooker tickets were supposed to be on sale? No mention of snooker on Sheffield Theatres site now, and no explanation on world snooker site.
They are on sale but there aren't many at all, tickets for both sessions of Ding, Fu and Perry's first round matches then one session for Ebdon, Maguire and Day.

So the only question is why World snooker is sending people to Sheffieldtheatres.co.uk where there is no mention of snooker rather than sheffieldboxoffice where there is? Is the box office a third party? Ta muchly
The Sheffield Theatres website does link to the Sheffield Box Office, but it is a bit tricky to find, I only knew where it was because it was the same last year.
It certainly should be made much clearer though, they have a hard enough time filling the arenas as it is without making it tough for the people who do want to go to find tickets. Hopefully they will stick a banner for the snooker up over the coming days or something.
Very true. There will be plenty of returns though so I'm not too worried yet, will just keep checking and pick them up as they come in. Want to wait until the full draw is made this year before booking too much.
Last year I managed to get row B tickets for the semi-finals in the days running up to the event so there is still a chance. Guess that is impossible for people coming over from Europe who will have to make travel arrangements in advance though.
I'm a bit worried about this podcast. I can't see Higgins saying anything very positive about World Snooker, but if he's too critical he could land himself with threats of disciplinary action.

Regarding Crucible tickets I cant understand why all matches are not listed on the website- they always have been in previous years- and I know they are not all sold out because I rang up and some quarter and semi-final tickets were still available.

It's very strange. Why announce tickets are on sale and then not sell them, particularly for an event with as much interest around it as this?

There's no need to be worried. The interview is about John himself, not snooker politics.
