GET THE COCOA ON

I'd say the last thing the Mark King v Rory McLeod match needed was a re-rack, but that's what has just happened in frame ten.

It seems certain they will come back tonight to finish the match off in an extra session, although this will most likely be on the first available table.

However, both matches this evening are resuming at 5-4, so a very late finish is on the cards.

Credit to King, though. He's just made a 114 break, only his second century of the season.

An utter disgrace they're taking so long. Can't they be fined for slow play as in golf?

anyone else noticed the "friendlyness" between both players. yeah right

Yes looks like they both joined the Peter Ebdon school of snooker!

This must surely rank as one of the poorest matches at the Crucible. It's on a par with club play.

I hope the loser doesn't have to pay for the light!

If all snooker were like this the game would be finished as a high profile TV sport

However, I must admit I find it grimly fascinating

I thought that if a match resumes at an extra session, as the King/McLeod game looks like doing, the match has to take place on the same table, regardless of whether the other table was free.

No if both players agree to then they can go on the other table

I have heard that MC Rob Walker introduced McLeod as "The Highlander". This is just subtle racism by Walker - does he not know that the tag line for the film Highlander is "There can be only one". So, Walker just wants only one black player at the Crucible. Disgusting. He should have been left in one of those boats at the Beijing Olympics and cast adrift into the Pacific.

On a far lighter note maybe both players can experience "the quickening."

Mcleod made a face when he heard Walker's introduction. Walker is just a prat!

Just be glad you weren't there to watch McLeod/Hicks at the qualifiers, that was even slower believe it or not.
